About Me – Derek Jones, Owner

My name is Derek Jones, and I’m the proud owner of Central KY Welding & Fabrication. Welding has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my training in high school, completing three years of hands-on welding instruction at GRC’s vocational program before graduating in 1999. From there, I jumped straight into the workforce and have spent the last 26+ years building a career in welding, fabrication, erection, installation, and millwright services.

In 2019, I decided to take the next step and launch my own company, fully licensed and insured in the state of Kentucky. Since then, I’ve been proud to serve the Central Kentucky community with dependable, high-quality welding and fabrication services.

I believe in doing things the right way: delivering precise, long-lasting work while respecting every customer’s time, property, and investment. You can count on me to leave your jobsite as clean—or cleaner—than when I arrived, because professionalism is just as important as craftsmanship.
